The Fifth Dimension had it right...Let the sunshine in!!! That is my ecOnomical tip for today. Open your blinds or shades or whatever window covering you have and let the sunshine illuminate your house...not electricity.
Using sunlight not only helps save on electricity cost if you keep your lights off, but it can also add albeit a small amount of heat to your house. This is one rule that I follow religiously. My dogs love to lay in the sunshine, XR loves to play in the sunshine, and it helps boost my mood. It makes everyone happy.
