- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Combine mix and milk and beat until smooth. {If dough feels too sticky, add more mix. BUT ONLY up to 1/4 cup.}
- Turn dough out on a dusted surface {either with baking mix or flour}, roll dough into a ball to coat, then knead gently about ten times.
- Roll dough into 1/2 in thick snake. {Kids love helping with this part!}
- Cut about every 2 inches. {You should end up with about 10-12 biscuits.}
- Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and brush tops with milk to brown.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
Voila! Yummy homemade biscuits. Now for yummy varieties. Just before baking...
- Melt 2 Tbsp butter.
- Brush tops with butter.
- Sprinkle with Cinnamon and Sugar.
- Bake.
OR
- Brush tops with milk.
- Sprinkle poppy seeds, sesame seeds, or any seed you like.
- Bake.
